We are seeking a Drone Show Stagehand General Technician for Dollywood Resorts who will embody the heart and soul of our mission of creating memories worth repeating while caring deeply about our brand.

They also bring fun, authenticity, collaboration, creativity, and genuine hospitality to their life and work. We seek an individual who can bring the vision of the resorts to life. The right Drone Show Stagehand General Technician checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.

 This role exists to assist the Entertainment Department in performing the stage technical duties for various shows in order to provide Park Guests with a high-quality entertainment experience matching the expected level of Dolly and the Dollywood brand

 

Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Be knowledgeable of assigned location and its technical equipment
• Be knowledgeable of show content and individual productions tracks.
• Assist technical set up of shows.
• Assist change over from one show to another.
• Perform requested repairs on show equipment and show facility.
• Participate in all work calls.
• Drive company vehicles (cars, vans, non-commercial trucks) to transport personnel and/or supplies
• Check work area daily to insure it is orderly, neat, safe, and well maintained.****

Education and Experience Required

• Must be minimum 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years backstage experience with school, community or professional theaters preferred
• Carpentry and electrical skills preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check including motor vehicle and drug screen
