Our history is intertwined with that of the Ottawa Ski Club, who celebrated their 100th anniversary in 2010. In 1920 the Ottawa Ski Club purchased Garrett Fortune’s woodsman’s camp near Fortune Lake and Fortune hill. The camp building served as the club’s first lodge and thus began the development of skiing at Camp Fortune.

That modest camp dating back to 1920 is where the name Camp Fortune comes from.

Camp Fortune is a client-based business in the hospitality industry. We are a team that loves to serve people, taking pride in the service that our team delivers to our guests. If you are outgoing, friendly, and enjoy greeting guests in a friendly manner we are currently seeking a dynamic bilingual individual for seasonal employment.
